Welcome to The Perch.

A cozy little granny suite nestled in the mature neighbourhood of Porter Creek. This bright little hideaway has everything you’d expect from a great hotel room, plus a few perks that hotels can’t match like regional literature and your very own porch with mountain views and chairs for your morning coffee, stargazing or Northern Lights viewing.

Take the few steps up to the suite and inside you’ll find a thoughtfully designed studio with all of the essentials for a comfortable stay: a queen-sized bed, a tidy and spacious bathroom, a cozy fireplace and couch along with a Smart TV for your enjoyment. Also, you will find a kitchenette nook with a mini fridge, microwave, drip coffee machine, French press, kettle, toaster and all the glassware and cutlery you’ll need for whipping up a quick snack or a midnight cup of tea.

What you won’t find here are features like an oven, dishwasher or laundry machine (let’s be honest, you didn’t come to Whitehorse to fold socks anyway). Instead, a stay at The Perch provides an experience of the everyday views and trails of a local, as the studio backs right onto Chasàn Chùa Territorial Park.

This central Porter Creek location is just a short drive from downtown Whitehorse, making it a great home base for short trips for business travellers, solo adventures, or couples looking for something simple, but special.

This is a private self-contained studio suite. Although there are other humans and pets living in the home, so there will be some everyday living noises and a bark from time to time. We take the private in private suite seriously – a separate entrance, no shared areas and a spacious private suite all to yourself! Street parking is available in front of the house. And a bus stop is directly across the street.
