Neighbourly North boosts the lodging capacity in the Yukon and Northwest Territories by offering high quality short term rentals to anyone looking for a place to stay while enjoying seamless, memorable experiences.

Our team manages a portfolio of handpicked furnished rental properties and builds an optimized hospitality management system to give every guest a local, contactless, five-star experience at scale.  All of this, while providing both guests and homeowners with an elevated experience where excellence in customer service meets exceptional comfort.

Our passion lies in our pride as Northern Canadians, and having the privilege of not only calling this place our home, but getting to show it off to the world every day.

Ready to join our fast-growing team? We make the magic happen out of our offices in Whitehorse and Yellowknife, though we’re remote working-friendly.

Some but not all of the locations where Neighbourly North has properties permit pets. In properties where pets are permitted, some restrictions may apply. A Pet Agreement must be signed by any Guest(s) wishing to accommodate their pet(s) in that Property. NOTE: Fees are applicable in all instances of pet stays. Failure to notify Neighbourly North of a pet will result in a fine of $500.00, all applicable pet charges and possible eviction.

Guest(s) are required to vacate their Property by 11:00 A.M. and arriving guests to check-in after 3:00 P.M.

Neighbourly North’s accommodations are guaranteed to be representative of the description provided. Guests are responsible to notify Neighbourly North within one business day (24-hour period) upon arrival should the guest(s) find accommodations to be other than as represented or have a concern which makes the accommodation less than acceptable.

Neighbourly North will make every effort to remedy the issue as follows:

  • Find and book the guest(s) another comparable property (in the event a substitute property is found which rents at a higher rate than originally booked, the guest(s) may be asked to pay the difference); or
  • If a comparable property is not available, all monies paid in advance for the unused portion of the reservation, plus one (1) additional night for the used portion, if applicable, will be refunded. In addition, other charges (i.e. incidentals) will be charged accordingly.

For the comfort of all of its guests, neighbours, and the community, Neighbourly North offers a smoke free environment, and a zero tolerance policy for parties, events, or disrespectful treatment of property and people. Customers are advised to review our Terms & Conditions in detail.

We believe that our icon, the Inukshuk, is symbolic of our mission to transform the lodging industry.

These man made stone landmarks have been used as a guide to travelers, providing comfort, advice, and orientation in the North for millennia. Neighbourly North celebrates the diverse history and culture of Canada’s North, and we hope to provide our guests an experience that encourages their learning and understanding of its many facets.

As a precursor to promoting our Northern brand with this icon, we engaged with our Inuit friends and governance bodies on its use.
