All the comfort and luxury of the big city in the great north. As its name suggests, Cocoon is a peaceful haven where you can recharge right in the heart of downtown Whitehorse. It’s a unique place filled with comfort and softness, perfect for your vacation or business trip, ready to envelop you in the vastness of the great north.
Space
• Take the time to enjoy a tea or coffee on the terrace, facing the view of the capital and the mountains in the background, on a covered balcony, both in summer and winter.
• Tired from the day? Take a warm bath in a softly lit bathroom and relax in front of the fireplace, enjoying a good 4K movie.
• Day or night, close the blinds and treat yourself to a private cinema experience with your built-in projector, directly from your bed, alone or with a loved one.
• In the evening, let yourself be captivated by the stars or the lights of the capital. From mid-August to mid-April, find northern lights spots nearby, just outside the city.
• Feeling hungry? All the major stores and conveniences are within walking distance!
• Have a vehicle? No problem, Cocoon has a private underground heated garage, practical in winter, with direct access to the apartment via stairs or elevator.
For your comfort and well-being:
The apartment is equipped with WIFI. Living room: Smart TV (Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video…), electric fireplace, sectional sofa.
Kitchen: large double-door fridge with fresh water and ice maker, microwave, ovens and kitchen hood, 2 teapot and coffee machine, kitchen set (frying pans, pots, complete kitchen utensils and cutlery), blenders, dishwasher.
Bedroom: queen-size bed, blackout curtains, and a smart wall projector (Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video…).
Bedding: semi-firm mattress, two memory foam pillows, and two large hypoallergenic pillows.
Bathroom: bathtub and shower, drawers, shelves, and storage jars, hairdryer, and large mirror.
High-end equipment: all our equipment has been carefully selected and should be treated as such. Given the distance, some equipment took months to be produced, sometimes by hand.
Designer equipment: sofa, chairs, and beds by Rove Concept, and artwork by local artists.
Ample storage:
• Large storage closet at the entrance for winter and summer gear.
• Small storage closet for sports and cleaning equipment.
• Closet in the bedroom with drawers and a clothes rack.
Electric heating, ventilation system, and smart fan.
Given the apartment’s location, you’ll hardly need to heat it in the winter.
Multifunctional washer and dryer, ironing board and iron.
Adjustable lighting in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom.
Two exercise mats and two dumbbells.
Notes
For your safety:
Secured entrance and elevator, accessible by fob and key only.
Video intercom.
A first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, and smoke detector.
Step stool for high-up items.
Prohibited: smoking, partying, or bringing pets (we love animals, but the small space and fragile furniture are not suitable for our furry friends).
